The company TEDi Sieć Handlowa Sp. z o.o. has informed the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection about the detection of elevated polyaromatic hydrocarbons in gel mouse pads, article number: 53224003981000000800, manufactured in China and sold between 07/08/2023 and 05/27/2024, which may pose a health risk. Customers are being notified of the potential danger and offered the option to return or exchange the product. Any entrepreneur who learns that a product they have placed on the market is unsafe must promptly notify the President of UOKiK. Failure to do so, as per Article 33a(1)(1) of the General Product Safety Act, can result in a fine of up to PLN 100,000.
