NMPA Investigates Non-compliant Cosmetics by Guangzhou Hongxinlong Cosmetics Co., Ltd.

On July 09, 2024, the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) published In 2023, 37 batches of cosmetics, including Hongxinlong hair dye cream, produced by Guangzhou Hongxinlong Cosmetics Co., Ltd., did not meet the required requirements after inspection by the Institute for Drug Control of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The Guangdong Provincial Drug Administration found that these products were actually registered or produced by the manufacturers. The State Food and Drug Administration requires the Guangdong Provincial Drug Administration to file a case for investigation, order enterprises to take risk control measures, and order operators to stop operating these cosmetics.
