Megha Baruah is the Delivery Owner, handling the Consumer Division projects for Freyr’s Cosmetics, Food, and Chemicals Centre of Excellence (CoE). She mostly oversees the requirements and projects of the AMR and EU regions. Megha comes from a biotechnology background and has four (04)+ years of experience in the Healthcare and Regulatory industry. She liaises between cross-functional teams in the organization to complete various projects, thereby keeping up with clients’ expectations and handling all tasks and schedules that lead to overall profitability.
- Over four (04) years of experience in Regulatory Affairs in Cosmetic and other products (CSRA, Hazardous Substances, and Food and Dietary Supplements).
- Cosmetic scientist with working experience in the field of Research and Development (RD) and Regulatory Affairs end-to-end process.
- Supports QA and QMS audits and has strong experience in customer protection activities and audits of manufacturing sites.
- Experience in handling submissions for Consumer Products [Cosmetics and Household Products (Hazardous Substances)].
- Pre-submission review, Gap analysis, compilations, submissions, and review of applications to the HA for Consumer Products and Household Products (Hazardous Substances).
- Assurance, preparation, and revision of regulatory compliance for products, labels, and relevant processes.
- I am working closely with the Regulatory Affairs (RA) association in Thailand, actively contributing to the development of regulations and laws in the country. I have also attended meetings of the ASEAN Cosmetic Scientific Body (ACSB), which guides the adoption of cosmetic regulations across the ASEAN region.
