The Russian Ministry of Health has proposed a bill requiring manufacturers to report the ingredients in tobacco products, aiming to preserve the population, strengthen health, improve well-being, and support families. The bill classifies information on ingredients in tobacco products and nicotine-containing products that cause nicotine addiction, have toxic effects, have carcinogenic, mutagenic, reprotoxic properties, or acquire such properties due to heating or smoldering. The bill is aimed at preserving the population, strengthening health, and supporting families, as per the President's decree and the goal of increasing life expectancy to 78 years by 2030 and 81 years by 2036.
