On February 28, 2025, Anvisa announced the publication of Collegiate Board Resolution (RDC) 966, which extends the deadline for the migration from the Cosmetics Registration Automation System (SGAS) to the Solicita/Datavisa platform. The new deadline for the entry into force of RDCs 949/2024 and 951/2024 is now set for April 7, 2025.
This extension aims to facilitate a more structured and efficient transition to the new platform, which will handle the regularization of personal hygiene products, perfumes, and cosmetics exempt from registration. The change is designed to provide the regulated sector with clearer guidance, minimize operational disruptions, and allow companies adequate time to adapt to the new system. The Solicita platform promises enhanced stability, security, and integration with other Anvisa systems, ensuring a smooth and safe transition for businesses.
