"The company TEDi Sieć Handlowa Sp. z o.o. informed the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection about the detection of elevated nickel content in the jewelry item '7 pcs. Earrings of the Days of the Week gold, silver,' made in China, and sold between June 18 and July 1, 2024. This could pose a health risk. This notification is not an order to withdraw the product from the market or to recall it from consumers under the General Product Safety Act but fulfills the manufacturer’s obligations as outlined in Article 12(2) of the General Product Safety Act of December 12, 2003 (Journal of Laws 2021, item 222). Any entrepreneur who becomes aware that a product they have placed on the market is unsafe must immediately notify the President of UOKiK. Failure to do so, as per Article 33a(1)(1) of the General Product Safety Act, may result in a fine of up to PLN 100,000"
