The Vietnam Ministry of Health (MoH) has proposed a new Decree on cosmetics management, aiming to address limitations of current regulations and align with legislative updates. The current regulations, such as Circular 06/2011/TT-BYT Providing Cosmetic Management and Decree 93/2016/ND-CP Conditions for Manufacture of Cosmetic Products, have shortcomings that hinder regulatory agencies management and enterprises production. The new Decree aims to eliminate policy and legal issues, simplify administrative procedures, improve the quality and quantity of domestically produced cosmetics, and enhance the safety of cosmetics available in the Vietnamese market.
