This Regulation aims to define the flavourings and food ingredients with flavouring properties used in food, along with their production sources, usage conditions, and labelling requirements. It considers consumer health, rights, fairness in food sales, and environmental protection. This Regulation aligns with EU Regulation (EC) No 1334/2008, EU Regulation (EC) No 2065/2003, and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 872/2012.
