"This document evaluates the safety of certain food additives and enzymes, the committee revised specifications, established acceptable daily intakes, and concluded on the safety of various food additives. It covers the following information: A group of CCFA members is mapping GSFA food categories to the FoodEx2 food classification system to improve dietary exposure estimates The Committee recommends that sponsors provide the requested information for enzyme submissions and use the checklist for future data calls The Committee provides information requirements for the safety assessment of enzyme preparations, including details on enzyme classification, production organism, genetic modification, manufacturing process, and composition The General Standard for Food Additives (GSFA) requires the food industry to provide use levels of polyglycerol esters of fatty acids by the end of 2026 to calculate dietary exposure, and the Committee will reconsider its safe use based on these data"
